About

magpie exchange

Magpie Exchange Arts Management was founded in 2018 after a group of innovative Calgary theatre makers - Ghost River Theatre, Downstage, and Inside Out Theatre - joined forces to address the lack of an Alberta-based tour agency. With funding from Canada Council for the Arts, they engaged Christy Offer to be their agent. The goal is to establish a sustainable agency that will create touring opportunities for a growing roster of regional companies and foster a vibrant culture of theatre and performing arts creation in Calgary and the Canadian prairies.
